ADITYA is an exclusive all-suite luxury boutique hotel sited on a delightful hidden stretch of largely deserted beach between the popular tourist resort of Hikkaduwa and the World Heritage site of Galle Fort.
Aditya is comprised of only 12 suites,
each of which is huge. Whilst the hotel is small and intimate,
the unusual feature is that each
of the massive suites boasts a private plunge pool, are amongst the largest and most lavishly appointed on the island. This
is a small boutqiue hotel withan accent ion unrestrained luxury
in the large suites with private dip pools offering total priavacy– ideal for wedding couples.
Aditya hotelreview took
place on
Saturday 17 March 2007 with Director Shailesh Adalja staying in the
Indra Suite. The images used above of the Surya Penthouse, Indra, Garden
and Ocean suites were also taken by Shailesh Adalja during the visit. We
found service at Aditya to be as unconventional as the suites and
setting new standards in personalised service. We have no hesitation in
recommending this hotel and including it in our Sri Lanka collection of

All
12 suites are different with distinct sleeping, living, bath and outdoor
areas. There are 5 Shanti Garden Suites, 6 Sagara
Ocean suites and the grand 2 storey Surya sun suite which is a penthouse
with a vast open air sun deck and large private plunge pool overlooking
the Indian Ocean. The Ocean suites have expansive balconies with plunge
pools and expansive vistas of the ocean.
As each suite is unique
in layout and décor Aditya has chosen to name rather than number them.
Each is furnished with authentic art and antiques drawn from Sri Lanka
and the East. All are equipped with a full range of luxury and
convenience features including a private plunge pool, large screen TV,
DVD/CD player, minibar, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee services. The
open air bathrooms have his and her sinks and vanity mirrors.
