Club Oceanic, which lies midway between Trinco and Nilaveli, has the white sands of the beautiful east coast beach in front and thick foliage as its backdrop. The hotel reopened for guests in 2003 after an extensive refurbishment following closure of nearly seven years.
The hotel was visited by us for a hotel review in
March 2003 at the invitation of Keells Hotels. This area has a stunning beach line, clear waters ideal for watersports and the nearby natural harbour of Trincomalee, where whales can occasionally be seen just off shore. Recommended to independently-minded travellers with a keen knowledge of Trinco's history, who want to share in the area's attempts to clamber back to prosperity.

56 rooms - Standard rooms, Deluxe Rooms and beach front chalets.
All are with a/c and attached bathrooms with h/w showers.
FACILITIES
The open air restaurant serves
Sri Lankan and international cuisine buffet style for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. An A'la Carte menu is also
available. The Pool Bar serves liquor, non-alcoholic
beverages, soft drinks and juices. Swimming and
snorkeling is possible during the season. Recreational
facilities also include Tennis, badminton, and table
tennis. Night entertainment includes a live band, magic
shows and traditional dance performances.
AYURVEDIC CENTRE
The hotel houses an herbal health center with a full complement of services such as massage, herbal baths and steam baths. The doctor in residence and attendants will ensure that you maintain your health at its peak level and depending on your needs, make sure you look good too.
